Two Termites in Oregon
We’ve two types of termites that make the Pacific Northwest their home. The Dampwood and the Subterranean termites. The Dampwood is the largest termite in all of North America. They can grow up to 5/8ths of an inch and are reddish brown in color. Because they thrive off of regular contact with moisture, Oregon is a happy home for this termite. It also means that any leaks you may have in your home are an attractant.
The Subterranean termites are a light cream color and are about 3/8ths of an inch. But just like Dampwood termite, they love moisture. You can try preventing their destructive presence by keeping mulch and wood piles away from the siding on your home.
We are an eco-friendly company and as such we have a high priority on keeping you and the environment safe. That being said, all natural extermination doesn’t mean compromise on effectiveness. We’ve created our own Natureline Botanicals line which has no adverse effect on nature or your family. While it’s perfectly safe for you, it is lethal for termites. We use this product to treat your wood to exterminate the current infestation and prevent future attacks.
